Product details
Cylindrical roller bearings use cylindrical rollers in line contact with the raceways, so they carry much heavier radial loads than ball bearings of the same size while still allowing high speeds.
Depending on the position of the flanges, the bearing allows axial displacement of the shaft (NU and N designs, used as non-locating bearings to accommodate thermal expansion) or locates the shaft in one or both directions (NJ and NUP designs). The SKF EC design optimises the roller ends to increase load carrying capacity.
