Product details
A Y-bearing unit consists of a Y-bearing (a ball bearing with an extended inner ring and a sphered outer ring surface) pre-mounted in a housing, ready to be bolted to the machine frame. The sphered surface accommodates initial misalignment during mounting.
The bearing is locked to the shaft with grub screws (YAR), an eccentric locking collar (YET, YEL) or an adapter sleeve (YSA), allowing quick mounting on cold-drawn plain shafts without machined shoulders. The bearings are sealed and greased for life.
