Product details
Spherical roller bearings have two rows of barrel-shaped rollers running on a common sphered raceway in the outer ring. They carry very heavy radial loads, axial loads in both directions and shock loads, and self-align when the shaft is misaligned or deflects.
The outer ring has an annular groove and lubrication holes (W33) for relubrication between the two roller rows. Bearings with a tapered bore (K, K30) are mounted on adapter or withdrawal sleeves and are common in SNL plummer blocks for conveyors, fans and crushers. SKF Explorer bearings offer longer service life in the same size.
