Deep groove ball bearings are the most widely used rolling bearings in industry: they carry radial loads and axial loads in both directions, have low friction, run quietly and allow high rotational speeds.
SKF produces deep groove ball bearings in open, shielded (2Z) and sealed (2RS1, 2RSH) designs; shielded and sealed bearings are greased for life and need no maintenance. SKF Explorer bearings feature higher precision and cleaner steel, extending bearing service life.
